Facebook removed Huawei advertisements for being too political.

One of the Huawei Facebook ads, which ran from May 24 until last week, warns viewers against "mixing politics with technology." The ad features a quote from the Huawei chairman saying, "We don't want to see any new walls." It was primarily targeted at users in India. A second ad aimed at European countries featured Huawei's EU communication's executive, and its director of cybersecurity and privacy, who said, "We prefer #facts over #fiction on cybersecurity." Facebook removed the ads because they did not include a disclaimer about who paid for them, which is required for ads about "social issues, elections, or politics." Huawei is at the center of a geopolitical battle between the U.S. and China, which became more serious last month when America blacklisted the company. Business Insider
