After just two years, Amazon shuts down Spark, its Instagram competitor

Aimed at Prime members, and looking to capitalize on social shopping, Amazon released Spark, its own shoppable feed of stories and photos. After shutting it down, Amazon said it is taking the learnings from Spark and its discovery tool, Interesting Finds, and blending them into a new social-inspired product, #FoundItOnAmazon. This new product is more like a Pinterest board, focused on product discovery, and presenting products across a range of categories. It features curated shops focused on niche themes, for example, "Daily Carry" for totable items, or a shop specifically for Star Wars merchandise. Tech Crunch
