TikTok now publishes an influential weekly newsletter of trending hashtags. TikTok is trying to help publishers and influencers get up the learning curve more quickly. Each Thursday, the weekly newsletter goes out to a limited list of publishers and previews the roughly top ten trending hashtags the platform plans to promote on its Discover tab. The newsletter includes links to sample posts for each hashtag, and more generally it is meant to give the publishers a head start so they can plan content and advertising around them.
