Facebook announces new tools for Messenger interactions. The updates to its business tools on Messenger include Lead Generation Templates which helps improve a business’s Messenger bot by injecting templates into Facebook Ad Manager. The templates generate automated experiences within Messenger to help qualify leads that are integrated with the organization’s CRM, and therefore provide for even deeper personalization for each customer/donor or prospect. The next feature adds automated booking to Messenger, integrating with an existing calendar booking software to carry out the full appointment scheduling process within Messenger. Updated Standard Messaging Window means that while organizations previously could reply with one message 24 hours after a message came in, the new strict 24-hour window means responses need to happen WITHIN 24 hours or remain unanswered.
