A new study says Facebook and Twitter are driving more drug addiction and eating disorders among kids

A new study says Facebook and Twitter are driving more drug addiction and eating disorders among kids. The university research analyzed 4,500 8 to 11 year olds, and found children who used smartphones more than two hours per day and slept less than nine hours a night were “more impulsive.” The study’s author says impulsive behavior is associated with multiple mental health and addiction problems including addiction, eating disorders, and substance abuse. An additional new discovery in the study - the condition is immediately reversible. Kids who limited screen time to 2 hours per day and got 9 to 11 hours of sleep per night were less impulsive. Daily exercise showed a similar reduction in impassivity. London Economic
