Teens are turning to TikTok to post dark school shooting protest videos. The 15-second videos are circulating on TikTok, and feature the #darkhumor hashtag which has accumulated 51 million views. One video, set to LaRoux’s “Bulletproof,” featured a boy searching for bulletproof vests and backpacks on the Internet. In another video titled, “When the shooting is finally over,” the user posted a clip lip-syncing a quote from Michael Rosen’s poem, “No breathing in class.” There are a number of videos of kids acting out sequences to the line, “You better outrun my gun,” from Foster the People’s hit song “Pumped Up Kicks.” Newsweek
