Twitter announced a test that lets users subscribe to a tweet's replies. In it’s ongoing efforts to give users more control over what they see, Twitter announced that they are testing a feature that lets users subscribe to replies of a tweet conversation thread they are interested in following. The feature works in conjunction with the existing notification function that automatically notifies a user when their selected accounts tweet. The feature lets users select from three options for a tweet: subscribe to the “top” replies, subscribe to all replies, and turn off all reply notifications. Top replies includes those from the original tweet author, anyone they mention, and people the requesting user follows. Tech Crunch
