Snap, Amazon, and Twitter are finally taking advertising market share from the Facebook+Google duopoly. Google and Facebook have dominate digital advertising controlling 51% of the projected $333.25 billion 2019 global market. But Snap, Amazon, and Twitter’s user growth and advertising platform investments are starting to make a mark: In 2Q2019 Amazon’s ad revenue grew 37%, Twitter’s 21%, and Smap’s 48%. While Facebook and Google’s ad revenue continues to grow too, Analysts at eMarketer predict Google and Facebook’s market share will drop in 2019, Google will fall to 37.2% from 38.2%, and Facebook will dip to 22.1% from 21.8%. CNBC
