TrustRadius raises $12.5M in funding to grow its breadth of user reviews and partnerships. The B2B software review platform helps business and IT professionals decide which software to buy by providing user reviews. The site features 190,000 reviews and claims that it is now a trusted part of the software buying cycle. Companies use the site to understand what their peers are saying about business software - CRM, online fundraising, accounting, and other solutions - before buying. Frequently the user reviews are used in conjunction with analyst reports, and the buyer’s own assessment. TrustRadius CEO Vinay Bhagat (he was founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Convio when it was purchased by Blackbaud) says his company is working more closely with software providers to access more clients for generate reviews, and to provide testimonials about the company’s solutions from TrustRadius.
