Hackers attack Professional Golfers Association servers, lock out staff and demand Bitcoin ransom. In a now common scenario, the association servers were attacked, encrypted and made unavailable to staff, and a Bitcoin wallet number was provided for payment to regain access to files. The association indicates they will not pay the ransom, but has not regained control of their files with some necessary for this week's PGA Championship, and the upcoming Ryder Cup in France. Golf Week
