In today's edition of <ALL THINGS> Software:

Make-a-Wish, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals partner with GameStop for retail POS giving campaign. The one-month campaign starting August 29, sees donations accepted at GameStop stores and online at GameStop.com, with 100% of donations evenly distributed between the two organizations. Giving options include shopper donations at the checkout of $1 or more, or round up their purchase, with GameStop's loyalty members receiving triple points on the donation amount. Supporters can donate loyalty points, or donate the trade-in value of gaming products delivered to GameStop stores. Microsoft donated $10,000 in conjunction with its Xbox  Adaptive Controller (for gamers with limited mobility) and GameStop itself contributed $60,000 to the campaign. Press Release
